FAA will change flight zones at the drop of a hat.  IMO I can't wait for the FAA's B4ufly app.  Am sure it will be more useful than Airmap's confusion.  Check this FAA announcement expanding Washington, DC to 30 mile radius.  http://www.wusa9.com/story/news/local/dc/2015/12/28/dc-drone-ban-30-miles/77993596/

I guess they don't want anyone within 30 miles of DC. I've never seen the area closed this far from DC before. The 15 mile radius is bad enough, but now a 30 mile radius.

What I don't understand is the restriction on tethered balloons. This means if you have a small advertising balloon that you use for your business that presently doesn't require FAA approval due to the size or ceiling height become illegal until the liars in DC finish up.

There also is a contradiction on air ambulances. One section requires they be registered no more than 48 hours before the event, another section states they are prohibited. Which is it?

If asswads would stop flying over motorcades and the white house we wouldn't need all these restrictions.
