Yes a sale on batteries would be nice as I bought my phantom advanced just 1  week ago and now I am a bit disappointed that I could have saved £200

How long will this sale last? What will be the end date of sale?

Yes, since I bought my Advanced a month ago, maybe I could buy the 4K camera and switch it out if it goes on sale or if I could do that?

The question is....is this a short period sale or a permanent reduction of a the price.
If the last is true then I understand the issue of current standard/advanced users. Normally is a price reduction only on they end of the lifecycle of a product shortly before the new version.

(I don't care - I like my product and the way he flies....okay I have a P3P)

Sorry to hear about that. But as many other customers said, the benifit is more than disappointment to lower the price.

Thank fuck I got a free backpack as some sort of compensation for the price drop.

You might want to re-think that statement.  You do realize that if you give existing customers incentives and prices drops on accessories, they would in return help promote your product.  With GoPro, Intel, and others just around the corner in the Quad wars, making existing customers happy would help market your product lines even more.

True but the big difference is milk and food are staple items and Drones are considered a luxury item for many that we really don't need but sure enjoy the pleasure this hobby provides

I bought a new P3P in Hong Kong 6/1/16 & DJI drop the price 8/1/16 so Thanks a lot DJI........ I wonder who else will be releasing Quads in 2016 as I might go there next.

$300 cheaper than what I paid 2weeks ago and the response I got from DJI is basically too bad so sad. Maybe I should get the new AEE A20.

DJI, there is a lot of interest in my aircraft. I took it to our annual Wisconsin Water Well Association convention and documented the exhibition hall.  Many people asked questions and wanted to contact me for advice in purchasing a drone. I would like to recommend a referral program for Phantom owners. Like rcdad2 said, paid $300.00 more just 2 weeks ago. It would be nice to have loyalty rewarded.

it doesn't look like they come with BATTERIES so it isn't really a sale ...

GOPRO is releasing a drone next year

is DJI reducingthe price of drones since they are starting this geofencing restrictions and nobody will want to buy their product?

Can DJI just concentrate on releasing the equipment they announced last year and stop reducing upgraded P3's.  Improving availability of current lines and improving customer service should be your main focus in the first quarter of 2016.   DJI are to the drone market what Apple are to the computer, tablet and phone market.  Yet Apple have excellent customer service, they are easily contactable, and they don't release new items every month even before previous items aren't released.  I own over £15,000 of DJI equipment and unless the company changes or improves I won't be purchasing anymore.  Yuneec seem to be the new threat to DJI.

No more DJI for me.  They are out.

if any of you bought a dji product from best buy from nov 2015 - dec 29th you have until jan 15th to return it. take it back and get the price drop. i did it and ended up getting an advanced for 99 bucks more then i paid for a standard and ordered it offline so i didnt have to pay tax

They wont be able to give them away with all this geofence and upgrades all the time, I`m sick of upgrading!

I purchaed my P3 Standard on Order Number: 001147829258 on 2015-12-14 17:52:23 (UTC)  from DJI 10 days before Christmas and Sent them a email asking if I can return  it or anything, T-Shirts, Extra Battery and They said to bad... I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DJI STORE AGAIN... I WILL ALWAYS BUY AT A STORE THAT PRICE MATCHES, I'M STILL MAD ABOUT THIS... Here is the response they sent me.. MAYBE A ADMIN ON HERE WILL READ THIS AND HELP ME OUT....
