I have recently noticed that after flying, one of the motor housings is extremely hot to the touch. I check the other 3 housings and they are somewhat warm but not what I would call "overheated". Does anybody know if this is a normal?

Just joined the Forum and I have learned a lot already. Thx.

Depends of the conditions you are flying in. If it's windy then one of the motors will work harder to keep the Phantom level.
You can start the motors on the ground and just let it sit for a few minutes and then see if they are equally warm. If one is a lot warmer then the others it my need to be replaced. But if you don't hear any abnormal sound than you should be ok.

Excellent. Thanks for the quick response.

No problem, there's so many threads and posts and it can take a really long time for a response. So in the future, if you got get a reply in several hours it's normal.
