I have been using my fantom 3 for a month  to day I go to fly on back yard to find I am in a no fly zone  rendering my phantom useless have I just wasted 1300 pounds or is there any way round this.

how we can fly when wee are in NO FLY ZONE and near aeroport is at 15 miles !! what the problem again and yoo re crazy to push no fly zone everywhere !!! we cant do use drone !!

This version of the map is missing NFZs for military installations and most of the warning areas are gone. Previously this map showed all airports and military installations were warning zones but that included small airports which was overkill. Please confirm this linked map is identical to the latest app restrictions.

I believe the changes are why users are concerned about the app update that included geofencing. Where we can fly appears to change frequently and without notice (as did the geofence "feature" in the app update.)

Please confirm if you can find the same No Fly Zone at this website : http://www.dji.com/flysafe
If it doesn't exist  on that page  , please try this way to fix the problem .  Firstly , turn your aircraft on and keep it on P-GPS mode . Then, keep your mobile connected to the net and connect your mobile to the aircraft . Please wait for several minutes , restart the DJI Go App and see if it's fixed .

I have seen you say this same thing in numerous threads now.  What good does checking to see if it is on one map do if they cannot fly with the map they have to use?

Here's an example. I doubt DoD would want Langley AFB to be accessible to drones:



Because the maps are wrong, and there are legitimate business uses in NFZs, recommend DJI rescind geofencing. In theory its a good idea, in this implementation its not ready to roll out (without notice) to users. It should have stayed in beta testing.

What is with this map anyway? For example, the FAA B4UFLY app shows in the Lebanon/Hanover, NH area  a pretty major active airport and the heliport for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with big yellow circles around them. There is absolutely nothing on the flysafe map. Not even the airport.

Others are reporting that they are in a NFZ in the app while there is nothing on your map. Or that US Air Force bases have no restrictions?

How can DJI release a major app update with such obviously flawed and inconsistent data?

Geofencing was the major change in the 2.5 update not some stupid "epic" love templates. You pushed this on everyone without bothering to mention it. There is no way to sugar coat that you deceived everyone with this move whether they have a problem with it or not.

If the No Fly Zone in your App doesn't match what's on flysafe website , please try the steps I mentioned above . It should be fixed .
