For some reason I can only get my phantom 3 pro 3200 feet away. Isn't it supposed to go 1.2 miles ish ?

But seriously, does it do this in all locations? What are the surroundings like? Check the channels to see if there is heavy traffic?

Lots of variables go into your distance. Any interference can minimize what you may get. Each day the same route could provide different results. Too many variables to list. The furthest I've gone is about 2.2 miles. I'm in an extremely rural area with no other wifi interference, my home point is at a higher elevation than my flight path and I have no obstacles between me and the bird. Makes a huge difference. Depending on your surroundings, your flight path, elevation, obstacles, wifi interference, etc., 3,200' may not be bad.
