I am receiving a RC Signal Lost message on my screen after the firmware update 1.3.5 with my Standard 3. I am using my iPhone 5s (iOS 9.2.1) to interface with the controller.

I found a solution. I selected RC linking in the DJI Go app, and pushed the link button on the aircraft to re-link the controller with the aircraft. It is now "Safe to Fly".

I have had this problem however I have found severely reduced range and intermittent signal drop out during flight. Have you done a flight test, say 200m + ? About 600 feet to you guys in USA.

its because you are from australia , and the phantom set automatically CE mode
because of your location , in USA they are able to use FCC mode
so they get a lot more range , with  my standar i was able to get 200 meters in the city , so to fix it i get a range extender and now im getting nice range

Glad you got it going, there's a lot of tutorial videos in the Academy page and also the user manual.
There's some great information there, AND a flight simulator.

Yes I find it strange that we follow European "CE" standards in Australia. It should be manually selectable.

I'm totally agree with this, there is some countries that doest have those restrictions , like in all  america (shout , central America ) so why they restrict it
