There is a new Firmware Version: V1.2.10 that bacame available Jan 25thThis should fix the IMU error for those who cannot do a IMU calibration. It also adds the features below.

1.  Improved battery reliability when using the aircraft in cold conditions.

2.  Optimized battery management.

3.  Optimized camera stability.

If you have multiple batteries, update those as well.

Sorry, I thought we were up to version 1.6xxxx???

It is 1.6 on the Phantom3 Pro and Advanced.

Great! I can see my values now, but it won't calibrate ever since I tried calibrating prior to the firmware update. :/

Can you post a video and I will send it to China for them to look at.
Power of then on and go to the that menu and hit check IMU, then calibrate IMU.

They are working on it, if you cannot minimize the vibrations by the instructions I've posted in the other thread then contact the service center nearest you for a warranty repair.

Basically, lower the basic gains to 80,80,80,100 and see how it flies. If it still vibrates, then try to downgrade to 1.5 then go back to 1.6. Do an IMU, compass, and gimbal calibration.
If after all of that and it still vibrates, you can make a video showing the unstable video and then send it in for warranty repair.

After 8 months without using my inspire 1 yesterday I took it and I tried to update to the last version. I don't know before what firmware version was  because my DJI GO did not recognize my inspire...  I believe DJI GO update automatic but the inspire and remote stay old firmware that is why the DJI GO does not recognize the inspire .. I believe the version V1.2.10 or below. I try to put last firmware version but but I could not do it.. Now my inspire can not recognize the remote controller, and it stay in travel mode. I tried to put the version 1.3 but does not work. Can you help me to fix up it???

I have downloaded the new FW and it works.  This is for the P3 4k not the advanced and not the professional.  I see a lot of confusion with the 4k and the professional...  Just my 2-cents....

Go ahead and update to the latest firmware BUT, watch the tutorial videos in the app and make sure you do it properly first.

No problem, as long as you study all the information is the Academy section of the app (read the manual and watch the tutorial videos) you will be totally fine.

Personally, I'm tired of hearing about China taking the lead on so many of the technologies that America was once known for. Are there any U.S. owned companies that produce high end Drones? I'm just saying...........................but I know they would all be manufactured in China or even South Korea but at least the profits stay here.

The last download update firmware I’ve made was today.
It’s a new drone and have never flyed… Always giving me the message “IMU error” in the status bar after four or five time-consuming attempts. Nothing works when I try to calibrate it.
