I have a P3 and love it. Have about a dozen or so flights. Just recently I have run into a curious issue. When I go to calibrate the compass it binds on the horizontal axis every time. The issue is it is not binding on the vertical axis, fails almost every time.

Has anyone run into this issue or know of a solution.

I know that with mine, you have to rotate a bit more than one full circle for it to work, try going around about one and a half times.

Is there any particular reason you're repeatedly calibrating your compass?
You'd be better off just getting a good compass calibration and not doing it all the time.

Labroides - Great observation however, I calibrate the compass prior to every flight in a new location. If I remain in the same spot I do not re-calibrate.

So I am still stumped.
