OKAY - (new owner) - So I followed many other recommendations to pick up the Nexus 7 2013 since enryone said it works so well with the P3.  Went to download DJI GO app and all I get is ----   NOT COMPATIBLE !!!  
DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS AND IF SO MANY RECOMMEND IT WHY CAN'T I DOWNLOAD IT??

I can't say why yours is not working but I can confirm I've used the nexus 7 2013 for 6 months + and it performs great. It auto updates the app when available.

Search DGI go

Search "DJI go (firmware version not in brackets) .apk" on Google and download and install from a website, did this with my nexus 7 2012, just need my phantom 3 advanced to arrive, but people have said the nexus 7 2012/2013 should work with some fiddling. You will need to enable install of unauthorized .apk files in the nexus 7 settings before you try to install. Sorry for messed up post above.
