   is it possible to set a maximum speed moving forward on the P3 ? I ask as it would be nice to so I can concentrate on filming and my positioning, I constantly find myself overflying stuff !

Hi. Not sure if this will be of any help, but if you use waypoints on Litchi or DJI app you can accurately select a fixed speed. The maximum (waypoint) speeds on DJ app is around 15mph and around 30mph on Litchi. As well as selecting the exact speed you require you can also choose to control the camera yourself while the Phantom flies itself... at your selected speed.
