I have been trying to achieve live streaming on Youtube with DJI Phantom 3 Advanced for last couple of days; but failed to establish live streaming everytime I tried. When I try to setup the live streaming on DJI GO app on my HTC M8, the app attempts to initiate the encoder for live streaming but then suddenly the screen goes black for few seconds. And when the screen automatically comes back on, DJI Go app shows that it has lost connection with the P3.

I checked later on my YouTube account, the app managed to create the live stream events everytime I tried but was unsuccessful in continuing the streaming. So, no video was streamed at all.

Is there anyone else facing the same issue and knows anyway around the problem? My all firmwares are also upto date.

Samsung S5 and Samsung TabS. Phantom 3PRO with firmware v1.8.80, DJI GO Android Version v2.7.2, RC 1.6.0 and streaming began to work!

i may be because your device does not have the processing power to run the app and live stream. Here is the recommended devices that work with the GO app.

Same problem here. I have two android device and i cant get Youtube stream work. I have Tab S2 8" and Galaxy S6 Edge+. If I use Youtube stream on my computer it will work but not on my GoApp. I use same Google account for both computer and phone/tab.

Your Tab may not work but your S6 should work just fine. Did you go to your YouTube account and in the Creator tab (when you click on your avatar) and set everything up for live streaming. You have to verify yourself by providing your phone number and YouTube calls or texts you with a verification code.

Already done that verification but still not working phone or tab. As I say earlier youtube streming works on my computer so I have done verification right. What might be the solution?

I just tested my wife iPhone 6 and it works properly. So why Android system not allow that YouTube live stream? Maybe enabling something USB developer option?

I have the same problem with p3p and with Android devices, galaxy note 4 and samsung tab s2, (Both with 4G and WIFI). Djigo app on android cannot make the connection to youtube.

DJI is aware of this and it will be taken care of on the next version of the app and that will be soon.

The live streaming feature is still note quite working on android devices. I use the djigo app on a Samsung note 3 for my phantom 4 and the live streaming portion is not working properly. It does work on my Ipad mini. Any update on when they will work the bugs out for android devices?

I am looking forward to using this feature! I live 2 hours from my brothers and it would be awesome to do live streaming! Dumb question but does it use your data and will it work if I am close to my home wifi?

Still not working for me on my Iphone 6s Plus, I get stuck at the same screen.

This has not worked for some time. I got my P3A back in February and have not been able to live stream. Only once was it successful and it force closed the app 2 minutes in. Now this was done on 3 different devices. Note 4, S6 and s6 edge.
