Try harder?  It's on there pretty good.  I just unscrewed mine for the first time today and replaced with an ND filter.

If you see a crease around the filter then it screws off. Use blue rubberd disposable workshop gloves that auto mechanics use as that gives you the grip and leverage needed. Keep the camera steady with (make sure it doesn't move much) left hand and twist the filter  counter clockwise as hard as you can.  Don't bother with rubber bands as some suggest, get grippy gloves.
All p3a have removable filters.

I have a P3 Adv and wanted to try a new ND filter. It took me a few times to figure out that I was probably squeezing too hard and not trying to turn it as much.  Remember the lens cap or ring is made of aluminum and can respond to the slightest amount of pressure around the threads. Just keep using your fingers and not your hand to turn it loose and then it will start to give a little and then loosen right up. :-)

Easiest way is to grip it with three fingers evenly spaced and don't press too hard, then untwist. It will come off, the harder you squeeze the harder it will be to come off.

The way I removed the UV cover is put to on a latex glove first before attempting to turn the very delicate UV cover.
Do not use excessive force. Good grip and gentle force will turn it.

Were you able to remove it?
Also a zip tie may help too. When you do get it off, make sure not to lose the rubber o-ring in the lens cover.

I haven't gotten it off yet, Ken!!!  lol.. it's the darndest thing!!!!   I'll figure it out eventually.  Are the Threads on it American, the usual "righty-tighty; lefty-loosy"???  I was wondering if I was turning it the wrong way?

Yes, righty tighty lefty loosy.
But they are very fine threads. It will come off, just make sure not to squeeze too hard.

Reaction to when something won't come off is is to squeeze harder. But in this case it makes it worse.
I promise, you'll get it. squeeze lightly but untwist firmly.
Ans as mentioned before, a latex glove will help.

Try putting a rubber band around it to help with your grip. Easy does it.

Wide rubber band, very loose grip.  Turn left and don't loose the o-ring.
