I just turned on my P3S and when I launched the app the "aircraft status" said  The "gimbal was disconnected". After further inspection, I noticed that the small black ribbon cable that connects the camera to be swing-arm that connects to the gimbal has been severed. There doesn't appear, visually anyway, to be any way to reconnect it, as if the only way is to have it replaced. Does that mean an automatic send in to DJI?  Has anyone else out there experienced this? Has many here have commented, my camera went downhill extremely fast immediately following the last firmware upgrade… I think it was last week. It's been through all my efforts to repair it that have led to even bigger problems now appears : /

You can repair/replace the ribbon cable yourself. Lot's of people have done it.
Plenty of youtube videos show how to do this properly.
However, be sure to buy the OEM ribbon cable from DJI.
The aftermarket ones are a hit or miss.
