I run it and log in.  Fired up the P4 and connected the USB to the laptop and to the P4
The software doesnt do anything or change screen or detect the P4

What is your laptop's OS version? And have you tried to re-install the DJI Assistant 2 with Admin's right?

Are you connecting to the mini USB or the regular USB port? I believe you need to connect to the mini USB port to update the firmware. Marty

Try a different cable or OS. I had severe trouble and only got it to work with Windows 10.
