im looking to expand my video shooting/editing hobby to a more professional level and wondering what fpv system works in best with the hero4 black and the phantom 2 h3 3d gimbal. plus if any one has any tips tricks on setting it up and what i need to be aware of would be much appreciated.

I would say you can use every quality FPV System on the market, its easy to install because the P2 offers the cables already. A bit of soldering is probably necessary in some cases but its really easy. I would use an immersion RC/Fatshark video TX and spironet antennas.
