I've been shooting 1080p 60fps using my P3A, I recently noticed that the overall video appears "dark". That is, it seems that the default setting doesn't give a very good brightness and contrast.

Do you all experience similiar issues on your P3 Advanced?

Thanks

Take it out of auto mode and play with the camera controls such as shutter and ISO

As already advised, don't use auto but choose manual settings instead. That way you, rather than the camera, determine what the end results looks like.

Hello tankfarms, you can use manual mode to record the video next time.

The Histogram screen is your best friend.  Learn how to use it to help you expose your images properly.

+1 correct exposure is key to great shots, at night i sometimes go 1 to 2 setting underexposed to let the bright colours pop

adjusting the  white balance + is a good trick

always aim to have the ISO as low as possible to reduce noise in the image, high iso is grainy and does not produce a nice image
