got a new 64gb card which is coming up as invalid in my ph 3. the original card is fat32 the new one says its ex fat , so have i bought the wrong card for my machine .its class 10 card ,whatever that means
reformat the card, in the Phantom if you don't have a reader... it will format it Fat32...
(you can do it thru the DJI Go app...)
Or if you can format it on your computer, just select FAT32 when you format it...
The cards can have any number of "formats" Fat32, NTFS, etc.. you're good, just reformat it...
It seems like you should be fine. Our units support Fat32 and ExFat formats. Rule of thumb would be anything that is below 32 GB should be formatted to Fat32, anything higher would be ExFat. The only other requirements for the SD cards in general is that it's Class10, UHS-1 in order to have the proper amount of write speed etc. If you are still having issues, could you happen to tell me what is the manufacturer for the 64 GB card?

its not giving me the option to format in fat32 ..only options are EX fat or NTFS on my windows ...
Dont format it in Windows. Install it in your copter, open the camera settings in DJI Go and format from that menu. Theres a format option in DJI Go for SD card.

I've ran into some customers that have not had much success with Kingston brands. Most have had success with brands like Lexar or SanDisk. I would recommend trying one of those to see if the formatting issues persists.
As for 64GB cards, it is recommended to format it into exFAT with 128KB unit. In your case, your kingstion card may not have good compatibility because timing is an important parameter of a card but it cannot be found on the package. Besides, here are 3 recommended cards:
1) Lexar 633X Class10 16GB MicroSDHC UHS-I ;
2) Panasonic 16GB MicroSDHC UHS-3 ;
3) Sandisk Extreme 16GB MicroSDHC UHS-3

I've seen that some users use 64GB lexar or sandisk sd card in their aircraft normally. But we cannot ensure compatibility of all the cards.These 3 16GB cards pass our compatibility testing.
