Hi all. I now own a p3 advanced. No problems at all like I'm reading here. What is best video to shoot in. 1080p or 2.7k?
And after I have the video what is the best software/editing tool for getting it on to social media YouTube etc. Things like putting some music in, short clips together creating a small slideshow of movie clips etc. Thanks.

I know filmora can do PIP, but it has other issues. I played with Cyber PowerDirector.. not as intuitive, but actually does a very good job.. Free gopro editor is quite nice, but it required an AVI as source....
On PowerDirector i have to test how well it handles 2.7K video.... From what I see it can probably do PIP, because it has multiple video track swimlanes.. not sure yet....
I am pinging Filmora for a refund.. if they refuse, I may have to chat with PayPal... they really have a lot of technical issues where their footage just does not come close to professional... sad, because I like the feature base as well as look and fill..... but they told me straight, that cuts cannot be smooth because of them having to re-render... weird!
Had a look at Powerdirector. Seems way too complicated for me and the easy option is a little too basic. Something I between that. Used movie maker but uploading my file takes an eternity. Not the best laptop so that won't be helping much. How easy is Adobe premier?
I import the videos (2.7K) on to my Mac using Image Capture (free with Mac). I run them through Handbrake (free) using the Apple TV 3 preset. This generates tight 1080p video files. I import these into Photos on the Mac. I am a subscriber (not free) to the iCloud Photo library, so the videos are then automatically loaded to the cloud. Once they are uploaded, they are available on my iPad. I use Quik (previously known as Replay. $10) to edit the videos. Quik is really fun to edit the videos. By having them imported into iCloud Photo library, I can easily combine them with videos I may have shot with the iPhone or GoPro.
I use Nero 2015. It has dedicated video editor, dvd maker, recode for converting almost anything to almost anything. Does it all, lots of easy to use features and effects in basic mode, way above my level in advanced mode, 1 shot payment for everything about 45 bucks.
Have you thought about editing the special effect a bit?
Because when the snowflakes in the beginning part of the video shows up, I thought they are real and confuses me for a few seconds. It might confuse other viewers too. Nor can I see how this helps the video.
I have never seen such blogs ever before that have completed things with all details I want.
