Hello All. First post.
A member of my local rc club lost a plane in the wheat field next to the flying field. They searched the field for two days with no luck. I was asked if i could yry to locate it with my PS3. I flew a grid pattern across the field and found the planes location in under ten minutes.
I was impressed myself!

Yes. I'm the only one that has one. It's an old school field. I'm also one of a very few that fly anything electric.

My dad had treed his drone way up in the canopy of a forest. Couldn't see it from the ground.. My p3a found it quickly from the air! Search and rescue missions are fun!

how did u fly the grid, manually or some waypoint mission? Taking photos at interval, or video? Just wondering.

I just manually flew in a grid pattern and watched the video as it was happening.  I'm sure with the litchi app you could way point the mission. I don't have that software but am interested in it.
