Videos like this make me hesitate to get the base X5.  The X5R is quite stunning, except for the lowered flight time.  I'm just not sure I'm ready to handle the increased workflow of raw files....and the extra expense too.

Do any Canadians watch videos like this and go "that's illegal, that's illegal, my SFOC doesn't allow that, that shot is breaking laws."? I wish I could just go and fly anywhere, but I have an SFOC (Special Flight Operations Certificate) that states, "shall not fly over built-up areas without expressed writing consent of the landowner." "shall not fly over open air assemblies of people" "shall not fly within 500 ft of a roadway". Maybe it's the type of SFOC that I have because I use it for business purposes, but I watch these videos and get mad with jealousy over these types of shots.
