Does Naza M v2 still require manual magnetic declination adjustment?

Could an expert and/or DJI rep please advise.. I have the newest Naza M v2 and firmware on my Flamewheel F550
(as of June 2016) and I'm coming across varying opinions as to whether or not it is necessary
to manually rotate the gps puck to accomodate for magnetic declination.
I'm in Nova Scotia and have adjusted mine for -17.5 W
Seems to fly OK but is this necessary or advisable?

Thanks Santorini
There seems to be two schools of thought, one that the latest Naza M v2 automatically compensates for declination and it's not necessary, while others claim that it still must be done.
I "undid" my declination setting, pointing the compass straight ahead and it flies great (probably better than with the declination adjustment" so who knows.
Cheers

Hello Jim
I have many naza-m v2 drones ( some 6 drones?)
Even if u not change GPS puck position & no  problem, u can use it without change.
but, when my drones was moving in straight direction via elevator key, front side continuosuly done little moving from side to side (Lt to Rt or Rt to Lt).
For this phenomenon, after i  change GPS puck declination, i resolved this problem.
when u set up your drone, do refer to this problem

This is what I got from DJI support.
Doesn't really answer my question directly but I guess I'll leave well enough alone.
It's just a hobby-grade navigation system after all.

"As long as the flying environment conforms with our request in our user manual, and before flight, connect your drone to its assistant software to check all the parameters are ok and then calibrate the campass for no error, it's OK. Of course, everytime you change a place to fly, you need do those preparations. Thank you."
