Hi

I am totally new to the UAV scene and I am looking at buying a Phantom 4. I want to produce aerial photography.

Does anyone know if the Phantom 4 has a photogrammetry tool built into the software? or is it necessary to buy PC Ground Station to get this functionality? Does PC Ground Station even work with the Phantom 4 and what would be needed to interface between the tablet driving the software and the drone itself?

Surprisingly, DJI sales team could not help me with this and astonishingly, neither could the Tech team.

I would appreciate any pointers

I have tried/looked at a few apps now from Maps Made Easy, DroneDeploy, Pix4D. They all work well. The current one I am on is the DJI GS Pro app that was released after my original post. Some bits like setting altitude is a bit fiddly but it works well otherwise, at least for my basic needs. Together with the DJI Go app it does what i need for now. Other users may need something more sophisticated.

I really appreciated your advice. It helped set me on my way.
