Tried a couple of still shots today from x3 and whilst the weather was fine and sunny the pics I took didn't look as good as what I expected. Given the weather they didn't look as bright and colourful as I would of expected, all the settings where on Auto and i'm wondering should I have used manual settings and if so what should I have had everything set at.
Also I have never used the supplied ND filter, would this have made things a bit brighter and sharper on the stills.
To help you evaluate your image, do you have access to dropbox or similar file sharing service so that you could make your X3 jpg or DNG raw image available to the forum?
