I'm sorry to hear. Do you happen to have your Go app flight records? Have you gotten in contact with support.us@dji.com as well about this incident?

From where did you really start?

Its obviousely NOT on the map.

You lost connection before and could not regain it so you switched your RC off and on - big mistake -  which results in that your homepoint is now far away from you over a tree.  When you got back connection you were already forced to go home and auto landing. You overrided autolanding. You switched to atti.

You lost it at 1% battery but probably because it was out of line of sight. I dont think it crashed there.

What happened then?

At 1% battery it will have continued auto landing while going with the wind in atti mode. As you had over 22m/s speed i understand there was haevy wind in (depending of your real start point probably) 60m alt. It would need 20-30 seconds to land or crash into some obstacle. This means expect to find it up to 300m away from the last point shown on the map in wind direction. There are also some powerlines (or whatever it is) on the map on its way or if wind goes west it may have crashed into one of the trees there. It may be rather hard to find.

Be aware that wind at 60m may be double as at 10m so you cannot really determine your wind speed from the ground or weather forecasts.

At the last point you lost connection.

Could you happen to provide the case or ticket number from your correspondence in order to better follow up?

erm.... You take off with 16% battery AND THEN fly 2.5kms away from the homepoint ?? sorry to play Devil's advocate here, but you really didnt lost the drone, you threw it away...

on different note, I would look a bit after the last point - it was at 95m high when it lost, so it may have drifted while falling off the air.

the craft did warned you ( it shows on the logs ) that it had critically low battery and even a few minutes after take off, it tried to land because of that and you override it. why you continue flying ( not even taking about taking off ... ) does puzzle me.

The weather history puts winds at NNE and 12 mph with 25 mph gusts on the 7th, so at that altitude possibly 3x's this number correct?

I read in the Healthy drone Log , "Takeoff battery 16% "  Why would it say that then ?  I could be reading it wrong  of course , but I also could not understand where his taekoff point was either. So I may not understand the whole picture.

because he lost connection before ----> this log starts after connection was regained and go home was triggered at this point 16% battery where left

and he switched off and on RC -----> homepoint set at flying position otherwise this would not have happened

in this log there is no "take off" at all
