Hi all,
  1st time here at the forum. Having a minor problem with screen footages beaking up and Pixely on all 3 of my Samsung mobile devices (Galaxy TAB S 8.4 16GB, Galaxy TAB S2 32GB and Galaxy S6 edge+ 32GB) after updating my DJI GO APP to v3.0 and remote controller to v1.8.0 (Phantom 3 PRO Firmware
v1.9.60) last night. it's my 1st time encountered any issues with the phantom 3 PRO. I always do a quick test run indoor for every upgrade to make sure everythings are good to go for my next flight. All updates install successfullly both DJI GO & controller. shut down all devices and start up the equipments in sequence and are sitting on the table. after letting it run for a minutes or so while going through the updated GO APPs. The footages (or images) on the screen start breaking up and go Pixely while i'm sitting right next to it. Just out of curiosity, i did a test run on all 3 Samsung devices [Galaxy Tab S 8.4 16GB, Galaxy TAB S2 9.7 32GB, Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32GB]. All 3 showing same symptoms.

  Took phantom out on to the park for a field test on saturday and see if the problems go away. Sad to say. It didn't, the breaks up and Pixely still show in the screen, but not right away after flying 1-2mins at slow speed and travel only half the football field at a height of no more than 20-30m off the ground. do a few run and landed the phantom. did a re-linking of the remote controller, didn't help. Pack up and went home.

  On saturday evening, i decided to downgrade the firmware of my RC back to v1.5.80 and redid another install of firmware v1.8.0. My initially thought was the 1st update may not be as successful as it seem. After carefully monitor the second update and happy with the outcome and did a quick test on the TAB S2 tablet (about 5 mins). everythings look normal up to this point and are ready for another field run on sunday.. fingers cross!

  Sunday come, went to the same location for my second test run. to cut the long story short. Same problem after a few mins short flight. so now, i went back to firmware v1.5.80 for the controller and everythings else stay updated. Not issue after leaving it running for 30mins on the table. Images stable on screen, shoots and Clips are all working fine.

  Had anyone else beside myself run into this problem after the late controller v1.8.0 update??.  Any help from the community will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

PS.. Is it safe to flight outdoor with firmware v1.5.80 of RC????

UPDATE:-
My problem-solved for now...
Had my RC downgrade back to firmware v1.6.0 and eveythings are back in normal working order.... very happy!!

Thanks your DJI for uploading firmware v1.6.0 to the GO App's in downgrade firmware section. Only saw v1.5.80 available last sunday and now they uploaded firmware v1.6.0 also. Highly recommanded if you having downlink images or Screen image break up and Pixely problems. Cheers!

Update DJI GO APP to v3.0.1
                             RC v1.6.0
Phantom 3 PRO FW v1.9.60

Did an hour flight testing this afternoon at  the local park with updated GO APP v3.0.1.  RC v1.6.0 and Phantom 3 PRO FW v1.9.60. had no issue what so ever with the update GO APP v3.0.1. Screen footages runing smooth and no breaks up or any sort of colour bands showing for the duration of the flight. Everythings in working order. Waiting for the next RC update Firmware (Not v1.8.0 FW). If anyone's still having problem with v1.8.0 breaks up and colour bands, just downgrade back the RC FW back to v1.6.0 and it should solve some if not all the screen footage problems.   1st time here at the forum. Having a minor problem with screen footages beaking up and Pixely on all 3 of my Samsung mobile devices (Galaxy TAB S 8.4 16GB, Galaxy TAB S2 32GB and Galaxy S6 edge+ 32GB) after updating my DJI GO APP to v3.0 and remote controller to v1.8.0 (Phantom 3 PRO Firmware
v1.9.60) last night. it's my 1st time encountered any issues with the phantom 3 PRO. I always do a quick test run indoor for every upgrade to make sure everythings are good to go for my next flight. All updates install successfullly both DJI GO & controller. shut down all devices and start up the equipments in sequence and are sitting on the table. after letting it run for a minutes or so while going through the updated GO APPs. The footages (or images) on the screen start breaking up and go Pixely while i'm sitting right next to it. Just out of curiosity, i did a test run on all 3 Samsung devices [Galaxy Tab S 8.4 16GB, Galaxy TAB S2 9.7 32GB, Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32GB]. All 3 showing same symptoms.

  Took phantom out on to the park for a field test on saturday and see if the problems go away. Sad to say. It didn't, the breaks up and Pixely still show in the screen, but not right away after flying 1-2mins at slow speed and travel only half the football field at a height of no more than 20-30m off the ground. do a few run and landed the phantom. did a re-linking of the remote controller, didn't help. Pack up and went home.

  On saturday evening, i decided to downgrade the firmware of my RC back to v1.5.80 and redid another install of firmware v1.8.0. My initially thought was the 1st update may not be as successful as it seem. After carefully monitor the second update and happy with the outcome and did a quick test on the TAB S2 tablet (about 5 mins). everythings look normal up to this point and are ready for another field run on sunday.. fingers cross!

  Sunday come, went to the same location for my second test run. to cut the long story short. Same problem after a few mins short flight. so now, i went back to firmware v1.5.80 for the controller and everythings else stay updated. Not issue after leaving it running for 30mins on the table. Images stable on screen, shoots and Clips are all working fine.

  Had anyone else beside myself run into this problem after the late controller v1.8.0 update??.  Any help from the community will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

PS.. Is it safe to flight outdoor with firmware v1.5.80 of RC????

UPDATE:-
My problem-solved for now...
Had my RC downgrade back to firmware v1.6.0 and eveythings are back in normal working order.... very happy!!

Thanks your DJI for uploading firmware v1.6.0 to the GO App's in downgrade firmware section. Only saw v1.5.80 available last sunday and now they uploaded firmware v1.6.0 also. Highly recommanded if you having downlink images or Screen image break up and Pixely problems. Cheers!

UPDATE (27/10/2016):-

Update DJI GO APP to v3.0.1
                             RC v1.6.0
Phantom 3 PRO FW v1.9.60

Did an hour flight testing this afternoon at  the local park with updated GO APP v3.0.1.  RC v1.6.0 and Phantom 3 PRO FW v1.9.60. had no issue what so ever with the update GO APP v3.0.1. Screen footages runing smooth and no breaks up or any sort of colour bands showing for the duration of the flight. Everythings in working order. Waiting for the next RC update Firmware (Not v1.8.0 FW). If anyone's still having problem with v1.8.0 breaks up and colour bands, just downgrade back the RC FW back to v1.6.0 and it should solve some if not all the screen footage problems.
