Balam that looks awesome. Where did you get the propguards? I've been looking for that style which is similar to the SmartPowercharge as far as design but I can't find black. I also noticed you added some strength under each arm. What's that for and where do you buy those parts? They do look heavy though. Hey-it really looks awesome. Impressed!!!

Hi my friend SkySight , I bought the propeller guards in ebay there search as DJI Inspire 1 propeller guards and you will find white or black, the  strength under each arm as you say are a arm holder bra hand to grab in flight the Inspire 1 is not heavy is made of carbon fiber this accessory I bought in ebay too., regards.

If I can figure out to hydro dip.... I will be doing this for sure. That looks like the way to go over the sticker kits..... I did a crabon sticker kit last night and came out perfect... But not as clean as a dip.

Has anyone tried those Hydro Dip kits you can buy and use at home?

The Inspire I bought used had a carbon fiber style vinyl wrap. It looks AWESOME but the batteries are plain white still. How do you remove the cap of the battery without damaging it?

These guys have a complete hydro dip service, they stock the OEM body parts except for battery covers which you can remove if you like and send in for the complete hydro... I think the cost is not so bad considering they supply the bodywork. There is an inspire 1 battery top removal tutorial on YouTube, maybe was about painting your bird or something...you need an old credit card to cut in small pieces then insert up under around the white top
to release the clip in points, really need to be very careful doing this trick as you can damage the wires that attach to the top piece... The video tutorial was a good one .. Hope you can find it.

Here is the battery disassembly that has been out on the web for some time. You need to take care anytime you are working with power. You can get the spudger tool shown in this video from Ifixit:   https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Too ... g+and+Opening%5D=on

They have many tools that can come in handy for working on sophisticated equipment.

Here is mine. I had the sticker kit on it but didn't like it cause there was a lot of white still visible, so I Plasti dipped it. I did the "carbon fiber" all on my own and very happy with the results!!!! Now I have to do the camera so it matches but I cant get the 2nd half of the camera off without messing with the RIBBON.
