Had some issues last night with my Go app, and decided to reset the phone...

and while reloading apps, I noticed that the DJI Go App is not on the Google play store...

I've looked on several devices in several locations in the past 24 hours, and it's just not there...

Update coming?

Funny how they tell you to delete and re-install when they surely must know the app is no longer available in the app stores.  I hate to say it, but it seems more and more likely that our P2v were purposely sabotaged so that we all would buy the reduced price p3.  At the same time, the reduced price p3 is driving other new drone companies out of the market.  It really is a smooth marketing move... Good job DJI way to sucker punch your customers.

WOW, I just saw that for myself. Don't know if it will help but I do have the 2.9.1 & 3.0.1 apk files for android I could email someone if need be. Let me know and I would be glad to do that. Either reach out here or PM me.

I actually ended up side loading 2.8.4 in order to get back in the air...

Yeah, it is back up on Google-Play. Somebody had a must of had a brain-fart! LOL

hate to say it... but I'm not touching it...

I was crashing on my nexus 9 after updating the app, I had not flown in a while.  updated the app yesterday and was much better, no crashes yet

I don't get it. It's been on Google Play intermittently. It's version 3.01 with today's date. I already have 3.01 from previous installation yet it is prompting me to update.

I've seen similar a couple of times in the past. I wonder if it is a 'fix' for a torn version.

Yeah I have had that upgrade notice a couple times since I DID upgrade . I know I have the latest, so I
just closed the app and re-started it and the message disappeared. I don't know what the reason is but seems like I had the same thing 6-months or so ago with one of the other updates. Maybe it is just the app?? Don't have a reason but it seems mine is ok now.

What does- "side loading" mean & when would one need to use it?

Side loading is just a term used when the software doesn't come from the normal source (IE Google play).

it just means I had to do the install a little differently than simply clicking "install"l from the original software supplier...
(basically downloaded the prior version from another site, copied it to the phone/tablet and installed it there...no additional software is required, etc)

Yes, just like JustGoThere replied about the side-loading, I had mentioned I had the .apk files for android. All android apps are a "apk" file and you can search for them or look on your device and there is a simple procedure you can do to install these apps. A little bit more than just clicking "install" ,but it isn't hard. I make a point to save a copy of my important app files of older versions (.apk) on another device so that if I ever want to go back to that version I can without worrying about it not being available from the source.

I am on latest Go app, latest P3 pro firmware and I just downgraded remote to 1.6 firmware. I thought it was my remote control, but its either the GoApp or the Phantom3 itself.

Same issues. Garbled video, banding artifacts. Does not affect recording or pictures. Changing to custom frequency and turning feed down helps a little.

Have you enabled hardware decoding?
Would you please provide us a video for further evaluation on the image transmission issue?
