Now it wont load the new firmware.... I reset it back to factory and loaded the one from a month ago on fine...So is this on their end or is something wrong with the drone?

May I know you have upgraded it to the latest one successfully? if no, any error messages popping out when doing that?

It just says I need to upgrade to the one released a couple days ago...It says it can't download the new firmware but does the old one...

Can you verify what firmware the Assistant 2 says is on the unit? What version of the Assistant 2 software do you have?

Would you please download the latest Assistant on the website (V1.0.6): http://www.dji.com/phantom-4/info#downloads
And please check your current firmware version on "About" page through APP?
BTW, what mobile device you are using to connect the remote?

Like Natalia stated, you're not using the latest Assistant 2 version. When you install the latest 1.0.6 Assistant 2 software, then you'll be able to see the latest firmware.

Ok just loaded new firmware... all good... I reset it and decided to do a calibration and it let's me complete it but it gets stuck in the "calculating" part and stays at 0%

Today I installed the latest firmware on my P4. I tried first with Assistant on my mac but after the download did not start the installation. So I decided to install it with DJI GO. All good up to 95% of installation then appeared two errors. I told him to continue, and in the end I became a successful installation message successfully. Tomorrow I will make a test flight.

Its all installed...The calibration part hasn't effected it as it flys fine and warns me of objects

And this is occurring even after a factory reset via the Assistant as well? Could you happen to try using an Android to see if you get the same error messages?

IM using a Galaxy Note 5...I have had ZERO problems with it with the previous P4...
