I am trying to update the software and I get the update failed.  using the assistant program. batteries are charged anf every thing seems ok otherwise

What does the About page say in the General Settings.
Have you tried to update through app?

I got failure info when I was using DJI Assistant 2 (Mac) and DJI Go (iPhone).

After that I tried DJI Go 4 on iPad and everything worked good.

I looks like its working then say update failed.  I  am going to try again in a little while then if I have to I will use the app

Sync your flight records then delete/reinstall the app and try again to update.
Make sure you are on a good WiFI.
