i had time to do some flying yesterday. i tried tripod, active track and POI mode. the first 2 worked without any problem, the poi mode thou crashed dji go 4 after setting the distance to poi. i retried few times, crashed everytime.

anybody else has that problem?

Yes ... I tried three times today while a mile out to sea.
It brought up something like No Contact and crashed the app.
After three attempts, I thought back on dry land might be a better place to try.

yes, its exactly whats happening with my p4p!

Oooo! I'm taking my P4P tomorrow for it's first flight... seeing this is a little worrying... anyone else having this problem?

same thing on my P4P  - POI crashes the app (android), showing briefly no signal message.

POI worked fine on my P4P / iPad mini4 today. All latest firmware/ software updates. But it wasn't at any great distance from the RC.

im on android too, so prolly another andoid go 4 glitch.....

no problem here, P4P with iPad pro 9.7 also tested with galaxy s7e

Just been playing with the simulator. If i switch on the "Enable Multiple Flight Modes" switch the app crashes when trying to do a POI, if it's switched off, then it's fine and runs perfectly. Not sure until tomorrow if that will follow "Live" but worth a shot eh?

im a bit confused. is the poi-mode available with multiple flights modes switched off?

Yes, MFM just lets you switch to Sport and Atti. I've just been out and flew POI with MFM switched off and it worked flawlessly. Now I'm back I forgot to try POI with MFM switched on to see if it would crash the app... I'll do that tomorrow and report back.

thx for the clarification! i cant do any flying since we're facing -6°C atm. will try as soon as it gets a bit warmer. Looking forward to test with MFM off. thx!

What is the latest on this issue mine crashed on me yesterday after upgrading to 4.0.2  I was hoping the update would help but it didn't.  Let's add more stuff instead of fixing the stuff that is wrong.
