Took delivery of my P4P today, unboxed, assembled, charged all batteries, registered , took out for a flight, drone handled great, shot great video and stills, but I could only take stills with the button on ipad , the button on the rc for this didnt seem to work, any ideas anyone? Did I miss something in camera settings?

Are you pressing it all the way in? It has a half press focus.

I am having this problem too, but not a total fail. It will focus OK with a haklf press, but it will take a shot via the hard buttin maybe 1 in 4 times.

My issue is that when I press the controller no 11 button the gimbal swings up and level and not picture is taken.  Again brand new P4P.

I've noticed also that sometimes when I take a photo the shutter button does not work.  I understand the half press to focus and full press to shoot.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  I assumed it was my error but since others have had this happen I am wondering if it may be a bug.

Thank you! After playing with it some more, I am finding that there is a delay to the shutter after the half press that I am not used to in hand held cameras, and I was giving up on the button too soon, thinking that the photo did not take. Just keep holding it down, and eventually I find the shutter will actuate.

The dial on Rc kan push not just on dial....after you push you will control te shutter or the iso ...may be its help

I have also notised this irritating thing, I half press the button and set tye focus, and then press and nothing happens. If I then release and take a shot, Im not sure where the fucus are. It is also cunfusing in the settings with the "Help with MF" on or off. Manuel focus should be exactly that and I dont feel sure about why or why not I want that help. Also if its not enough light, taking a picture at night, I try to set the focus but the zoom-in try fails and its just blury. What do I do in that case? Mauel, semi manuel, Auto and all three with or without the "Help with the focus". Finally when use video and want to take a picture I tried to just take a photo for changing to the camera and that happens but I dont seems to take any picture, instead I have to press the trigger one more time. Those times I dont get any picture sounds but the graphic load on the screen like it does when taking pictures. Sometimes I come home with multipel shots on the same view but ather time not.

I found that if you push the button too quick on the RC  nothing will happen. I take the time to ensure half push to allow for focusing then follow through with the push.

Have the same problem here. Half press the autofocus is activated, pressing further nothing happens, even after waiting for several seconds.

Reformat the memory card inside the Phantom. Using the Go4 app.
