My Mavic has developed a gimbal issue and is to be returned for repair.
Do I need to include the battery and props as well as the aircraft or should I remove everything except the aircraft?

Just email them they will tell you.

No one on support - I tried the chat and its closed.  

Its being picked up Wednesday.

Nothing specifically mentioned in the instructions.

Unless someone else has a better idea I'll just send the aircraft back and remove everything.  Its the aircraft with the fault - props and battery are fine.

Hello, if the battery and props are fine, then you don't need to send them in.
