Just got my p4p and did firmware update on aircraft and rc. First day video and stills focus was perfect. However after that next 2 flight days Focus would not work for Stills and video. Tried to focus manually and that didn't work either. Half pressed shutter release got beep beep green box indicating Focus took photo was horribly out of focus. It appears that it will not adjust focus for me. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to calibrate the camera/lens again. You are able to do it form the settings.

The image you posted is too small to tell if it is focussed or not

Sorry hope this one's better. Someone recommended calibrating the camera. Can't find that in settings. Funny thing was that it worked perfect day 1 but not since then. Still looking for good advice. Thanks

It's also too small and an image shot indoors of a subject two metres away is not the way to test an aeril camera.
To add a larger photo you may have to click on the Advanced icon (centre right of the box you post in).

Thanks for posting back so quickly and trying to help. Didn't see the advanced icon near the comment section. But here's one I shot outside. While flying.

This is one I took the first day when the focus was working normal. Like a regular SLR. Now I can't get it to autofocus at all. Both video and photos look out of focus.

This is how to attach a picture so it shows as more than a thumbnail.

Hope this works. As I said everything was fine on day 1, was able to auto focus and get great images. Now when I use auto focus the image on the screen does not focus. Checked App version 4.0.1 ,  version 01.01.0203  ,  RC 01.03.00.00     . IMU was calibrated. Would like to hear its something I did and can fix. Also just want say thanks for your patience and help.

I have also encouter the same problem on the first day of flight, however the second day got better. But still dont know how to fix or control it. Really hope someone can help.

Sorry to hear that yours had the same problem as mine. However yesterday out of the blue it starts working again and I'm not sure why or how. concerned that it wont last and the problem will resurface. Keep me posted on your situation. please.

I'm having the same issue and I'm afraid it's hardware related.  Auto focus doesn't work and neither does manual focus.  It's all just looks horribly blurry.  When I tap to focus it gives me a green box for a second and then the box turns red.  Any ideas?

Just to clarify, you only noticed this after a firmware update and not prior? Have you tried restoring the unit to factory settings via the Assistant 2 software?

I did the update prior my first flight therefore I don't know what its supposed to be. It only happened to me on the first day. The second and third time i flew was working fine.

Just to make sure, you didn't try the restore to factory option via the Assistant 2, right?

Have you tried connecting the unit to the Assistant 2 software and restoring to factory settings? It wouldn't reset the firmware, but ensure that there aren't any odd presets that could be affecting the unit.

No, because I didn't encounter any problems after my first flight. If it happens, I will try to restore it. Thanks!

I wonder if anyone would try to restore it and fix the problem. Please let us know if it works.

It never hurts to try, doing a restore, it has never led to any negative effects that I've been made aware of (knock on wood ). Let me know if the issue does come back, though.

I did restore to factory settings and had no luck at all.
