Hello and good evening all

Here is a first video for me piloting my new drone. It was flown in beginner mode, and it was very windy out. Let me know what you think.

I'm jealous of your weather and the HUGE open space that allows you to fly in your backyard.

Looks good...kind of like my first flight.  I'm sure that within a few more flights you'll be yanking off the training wheels.  Have fun!

Thanks... Yes, I am looking forward to cutting the strings and catching some real stills and videos.

Very nice, good open space for learning...

I remember not flying more than 50 or so feet when I first started. Now, it's up,up, and away. Like you, I have plenty of open space to fly even though I live in a residential area. My farthest flight so far is about 1400 feet away at 200 feet up. Scary but loads of fun...Here's where I fly most of the time.

That is an awesome still shot dude. It looks like the weather is going to be nice this weekend, I want to go and fly. How long have you been piloting?

I have about 70 flights under my belt. It takes some getting use to flying that far away and relying on you screen for info. I know...line of sight..lol Any way, before you know it, you will be brave enough to venture farther away.. I try to get a flight in every evening but with Florida weather, you never know how it will be minute to minute..

Yeah, don't I know it. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable at times. But I will not trade seasons for wearing shorts year round. I know it says Canada in my profile box, that is untrue, I reside here in Florida with you. How do you change that? I looked and could not find out on how to do that....

Man, I'm stuck here in Chicago.  Born and raised, but would love to wear shorts all year round.  

Just one small criticism, I noticed you flying along very close to the ground. Be very careful doing that, because if the landing skid digs in, it will flip the aircraft and you may smoke a motor.

I am located in N. Lakeland

Not too far from me. I live near Seaworld right off I-4. My mom and Dad use to live in Lakeland near the Lakeland center. Did you ever get any info about location change?

Nice Pics and Video - I am just beginning as well and from Maitland, FL, right next to the I4 construction.  Sure looks different at night versus during the day.

Nice stills!! I know where Maitland is, when I was a vendor I used to frequent Altamonte Springs and Fern Park

Glad I don't have to drive that area. There is construction on the beachline near my house but not as bad as the ( Big Drive) area. Sounds like we need to all meet up some day...lol
