can someone tell me if the dji battery hub can be used to update batteries and does it need to be done thru assistant 2 ?

     Unless DJI came out with something new, the battery has to be in the aircraft in order for a battery update to take place.  In my case, I have noticed the advisory at the white start-up screen before the camera view is enabled.  I touch the notice and the update takes maybe a minute, done.  Real easy.  Otherwise, you can use the Assistant 2 and swap out the battery with repeated restarts and unplugs, a bit humbug for me, but it works to.
