Hello Donnie,
I have been having the same problem Inspire 1, x3. I maintain all gear at DJI most recent.
The image transmission error is getting more frequent and yesterday nearly prevented an assignment being flown. I re-seated camera several times (which sometimes resolves the problem).
Geo Photo Ok, since you have an apple device do you have the "Hardware Decode " enabled on the go app if not be sure to do enable them on BOTH slave and master go app devices. . Also if you can try to go to custom channel and go to channel 20 for the Image transmission . Channel 20 has the least amount of interference of any of the channels .
Make sure the slider below the channel selection is set for better distance as well, yours may be set to give better image quality but less range . I get 3 miles easy with mine ,line of sight .
Be sure to check the copper flex pins on the vibration board and also the flat copper on the camera gimbal ( see picture ) , make sure none are bent ( vibration board ), sometimes you may need to loosen the screws on the camera gimbal ( see picture just a 1/4 turn to give it a bit of flex so it can make a better fit . ( JUST CHECK IT ANYWAY , DOUBT THIS IS THE PROBLEM )
PICTURE Below the philips screw loosen just a tiny bit , look for marks on THE flat copper as well make sure they have equal witness marks .
Also delete and re install your go app. then make sure you never have any apps running in the backround on either the Master or slave go app devices . You may wish to first sync your files . It is simple , just go to the start page of go apop whre you see the picture of inspire , go to the paper airplane looking symbol top left corner , make sure you have an internet connection ( Transmitter is off ) then sync the files with the cloud Icon, very simple . I think this is what is causing the no telemetry etc. ( Or the MINI I pad cant handle the data )
*** I agree the sub menus dont give very accurate info if you ask me .
***Is there any way you can borrow an I pad air or pro , I hate to tell you this but the the I-pad minis dont have enough power to handle the go app, and with each update taking more and more compouting power, the Mini will perform less and less. Can you go borrow one from a friend , I think many of your issues will go away with a better I pad . ALSO by enabling the "hardware decode " and making SURE NO OTHER APPLICATIONS ARE RUNNING IN THE BACKROUND , it may help get your I pad mini to squeek by, this is kind of a known issue.
Best Buy has a very generous 2 week return policy , if you try there I pad and it solves the problem , keep it , and if it dont we know we have another issue somewhere and simply return it .
*** dianostic report looked fine too.
Try this to start , The hardware enable helps many people and also make sure no othere apps are running !! Also dont forget custom channel 20 .
