Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with connecting my P4P to my RC.
I upgraded to a P4P (coming from a P4), because of unrepairable damage to my previous one. This means I still have the batteries, RC and cables of the P4. The only thing I received is a new P4P.

Now setting up the P4P, I'm having troubles linking it to the RC which I already owned. For some reason it doesn't connect.
Things I've done so far:

- firmware upgrade of the P4P (through assistent 2.0)
- tried connecting aircraft and RC through automatic process in DJI GO 4 app (the new app)
- tried connecting aircraft and RC through manual process, by using C1, C2 and shutter combination etc.

No of the above seems to work, and I can't find any solutions online. Does anyone now how to solve this problem?
Could it be some incompatibility between RC firmware and P4P firmware?

You can't use the P4 remote with the P4P AC. They are on 2 different frequencies

Does anyone know of a solution to switch frequencies of the RC or anything?
I bought this P4P through an upgrade with the official support team from Europe, and they knew I was only switching the aircraft itself. It would be completely crazy not to advise me on the incompatibility!

Yes it definitely is NOT compatible. I have the p4 and p4p and the p4p needs its own remote because of the 5.8 ghz band and other features
