Some of you may be aware that I haven't actually got my P2/V+ yet so I am finding things to do while waiting, this was today's project.

I have a van that I am going to use to ferry myself and my friend about (he is waiting for a P2/V+ on the same order as mine) and because of the space available to carry stuff about with me I am making a launchpad that will sit a couple of feet off the ground.

It is going to be 6ft x 3ft but I have held off printing it yet as I would like to hear from you lot if the list is missing something that should be on it?

A helicopter landing zone has a BIG H in the circle, not DJI.

I haven't got a helicopter.

Looks good, a couple of suggestions:

7.  -INSERT, PULL CHECK/TUG

16.  LAND SAFELY

Wind sock?

Cup holders?

Tiny fire extinguisher and a tiny fireman?

Yet, that is, but soon you will be flying and having fun.  Just make sure to read and do all the setups before you take off for short, low flights until you get confidence in yourself.

I cannot put into words how much I am looking forward to it turning up.

Just take your time and learn the controls and what it can and cannot do first.

Pretty extravagant to say the least, I have a 3x3 sheet of plywood ,and I thought I was fancy!! Make sure you read the manual and watch videos or that fancy landing pad will be just a sad reminder!! Have fun as the phantoms are a blast!!

Have you got GPS trackers in case you lose them and "find my Phantom" can't find your Phantom?

I colored mine red with a marker and that has helped me to remember each time.  I take it off after installing battery and put them back on before removing battery.

I ordered 4 of them.  They are 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.

I made a Tag for my gimbal clamp, as I did have a hard time remembering to take the clamp off and lens cover.

I took a 1/2" X 1-3/4" Avery Label which I printed ... filled with RED and printed REMOVE in WHITE trimmed and pasted it on to the clamp face just left of the finger grips ... looks good.

Thing is, you need to remove it BEFORE you switch on, I have a sticker inside the battery compartment to remind me
to remove the clamp, before I put the battery in!
