The exif data is there, it's just that Windows is somewhat random in it's native ability to extract the information. On my Win 10 machines JPGs usually include the information, but Windows rarely finds the info within DNGs.
The best route to see this data is to use a dedicated EXIF extraction tool. Phil Harvey at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada has written one such tool called ExifTool. You can jump to the download page by clicking on this link....
His ExifTool is a command line/termial shell type PERL application. But the stand-alone Windows executable does not require Perl and it runs on all versions of Windows. Just download and un-zip the archive then double-click on "exiftool(-k).exe" to read the application documentation, drag-and-drop files and folders to view meta information. You can also rename the "exiftool(-k).exe" by changing the various commandline switches to produce the exact output you need. I renamed my executable to "exiftool(-a -u -g1 -w txt).exe". I simply drag the photo file onto the ExifTool icon and it produces an output txt file with the same name as the photo...
