Just Received my Mavic Pro 2 hours ago.
Three flights in already.. What and impressive machine!
I have flown the Phantom 3 Standard for a good while now and there is just no comparison!
Mind you, i think highly of the Phanton 3S as well, But WOW!!
My apologies for starting a thread thats been probably "beatin to death already", I had to tell someone!
DJI did a Bang Up job of packing this unit as well....top notch! very happy!
Anyone famaliar with good places for photography in the Davie, FL area "33328" by chance?

Awesome! It is an incredible little machine! I dont know any places by Davie but if you want to drive down to Miami I know a few nice spots where it is legal to fly
If you're down for some night flying around Downtown Miami tomorrow three of us are going out, let me know!

The Mavic is far superior to your P3S, just make sure to read the entire manual and understand all of it's features, functions, and limitations and you'll be good.

Not at all: it's always nice to hear from folks who are happy with the Mavic and I agree that it's a fantastic machine.

One thing I would mention, though, is that you may want to consider a landing pad like this one instead of or in addition to the landing gear extensions. Being on the Atlantic coast of Florida I'm guessing that sooner or later you'll want to fly over the water, and the landing pad is likely to work and protect your Mavic better if you want to take off from a sandy beach than would the extensions.
