It said in the video they did but couldn't  find out who it was.

Maybe the person who owns it comes on here those small panels of glass can't cost that much.  I bet if they got the glass and fixed it for him he would give them their quad back.

Thanks, did not watch the video, just a quick scan of the text...
It does come down to principal though and kind of like hitting an errant golf ball, you hit it, you break something, you bought it...Man up!
Wish the idiot that did this would man up and take responsibility!
Unfortunately all the more reason folks will want these registered like cars and guns etc. when bought..
It is the few that tend to screw it up for the many that are serious about the hobby/sport.

I'd like to give that person the benefit of the doubt and think he or she just doesn't know where it ended up. Maybe if they see the video they will come forward and fix the persons window. If I lived in the area I would fix it for him if he gave the vision to me

Its just a matter of time until most of the USA becomes one giant no fly zone.....

let's assume it belongs/belonged to a guy, maybe it was stolen from him or maybe it was his wife who was tired of him having his hands all over his droner and not all over her and she simply launched it one day while he was not home and well, you get the rest of the story, or possibly the guys kids, but who knows....

I'd be willing to take the heat. I would say "One minute it had full GPS and the next - She was gone!"

Yet another idiot, non responsible, no good individual who's given the media another story which has the potential for the FAA to put more restrictions.
