while im waiting for DJI to get back to me about my bricked RC from the firmware update i have found that although the normal usb port is not detecting and device plugged in

yet when i used the white Micro usb cable and plug it into my pc it sees the RC, so my question to DJI is it possible to do a recovery firmware flash via the Micro usb via PC or a dual ended pendrive http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1983724.htm

Its not a normal USB port. If you just insert the cable, it will look for DJI Controller driver - ofc it wont find one. But if you start the app, you have an option to enter the craft into Flight log mode. Then you connect the USB again, and you will have a drive available, where flight data logs are stored. If I know correctly so far its usable only for flight data logs. nothing else. Maybe DJI has a nonpublic tool to access more info thru the port.
