Hello there

filming with my Mavic Pro, the Videos (4K) when read with different readers are not smooth and the speed changes, stops, accelerates, ...
Best with "Photos" from Windows, worst with VLC Media Player.

What is wrong?

VLC is pretty bad when viewing 4k videos, I do the same I use "Photos" but when I edit I use photoshop and drastically reduce the resolution

How can I lower the resolution for the videos so as to save space on the card.

Also is there any type of card that is better suited for the mavic?

I am surprised to hear that VLC did not play your videos well as it works well with 4K. Perhaps you need to reset the VLC settings back to default in case there have been changes made that are not favourable for 4K.

Indeed, VLC works great

For me VLC in window plays 4K and 2.7K very badly. On a Mac it plays smoothly.

If this won't play it smooth, your pc/laptop is just to weak to play 4K. Bad GPU probably.
