Hi! I know the Phantom 4 now has a different method for stopping the motors: left stick inward-down + RTH button press. My question: does the P3 Advanced work the same way with the latest firmware? If yes, starting which firmware does it work like this? :-)

The Phantom 4 method of stopping the motors does not work for the Phantom 3.  There are only two ways for stopping the P3 motors:

• left stick fully down and held for 3 seconds (only works when the aircraft is on the ground and no longer descending, it won't work in flight)
• CSC (combined stick command) both down and in, or down and out.  This will work in flight, usually instant, however with firmware 1.10.90 it was increased to a 3 second delay.  It can work while on the ground but it is likely to cause the aircraft to flip and crash.  It is discouraged to use this method to stop the motors when on the ground, use the other method instead.
