I am having a new end of April made Mavic Pro and having difficulties to update from .550 to .800

The initial firmware was .400 and I can only update it to .550 and I am stuck at .550 now

What are the ways to update to .800? I tride Mac, PC and iPhone to update and all fail.

Anyone has the .350 firmware?

I just updated to 0.800 on the weekend without any problems.  Because of weather and work, the Mavic hadn't been touched since before winter.  I was on something like version 0.250 and upgraded straight to 0.800.  

Is there still the option to "reset to factory settings" available for you when you plug into DJI Assistant?  Maybe re-set things and then try and go directly to 0.800.

Try to complete the process through DJI Assistant 2 Software as perhaps this is more of an issue with how the firmware is going through the App. If need be, you can always reinstall the App before starting the process to see if this helps.

I was having a hard time, but it finally worked well when I got fairly close to my wireless router.

What is the error message on your PC?  Could you please post a screenshot? Besides, for the 350. firmware, please PM me your DJI account email.

I have the exact same problem.  I just bought this Mavic a few days ago and right out of the box it will not update the firmware to any version I have tried.   It's currently on 0550 and it will not take any subsequent firmware updates.

I have tried the following things with no success:

Update through DJI Go 4 many times - fail
Uninstall DJI Go 4 and re-install - fail
Update through DJI Assistant 2 - the controller updates but the drone fails
Update through controller with drone connected via RC - fail
Create new account and update - fail
Uninstall/Reinstall both DJI Go 4 and DJI Assistant 2 and update - fail

It gets stuck at 74% for a long time and after the Mavic reboots it always fails at that point.  

I have received several error codes but the last one was 0x020103

I bought this to use on my vacation and have spent half of my vacation time trying to get it updated!

I have the same problem, i spent countless hours for the past 2 days to update it.

This morning finally i able to update it to .800 from .400 to .550, .550 to .600, .600 to .800

I have a solution, can you try it out?

1. Update the Mavic via DJI Assistant 2
2. It will stuck at 57% and reboot the first time
3. Disconnect the USB cable and disconnect battery
4. Do not close the DJI Assistant 2 software ****IMPORTANT****
4. Charge the battery to full 100%
5. Connect the battery to the Mavic and USB to Mavic
6. DJI Assistant will continue from 57% and will successfully update it

Please update from .400 to .550 first if you have a brand new shipped and it should have the .400 default firmware.

Then update to .600 with Assistant 2 with the method above

Then from .600 to .800 is an ease

OK, in this case you need to request DJI support to unlock the 1.0.3.350 firmware for you in order to update to .600, .800

It will work once they unlock the 3.350

I think that some people are having issues with updating firmware through Assistant 2 due to drivers not being installed. During the update, the Mavic may be restarted a couple of times and for some reason, if the drivers are not installed or not installed properly, then the PC does not recognise when the Mavic has restarted and has reconnected to the usb port. Consequently, the update stalls and fails.
I had this problem with Windows 10 and I uninstalled the Assistant 2 program then followed the procedure to allow unsigned drivers to be installed and then reinstalled Assistant 2. I have not had a problem since.

Downgrading to 0350 and then upgrading worked perfectly.  Thanks!

I have the same problem as all - new Mavic Pro with 04 cannot upgrade to anything, factory resets, etc. Controller upgrades no problem.
I heard someone can reset the account and the upgrade will then succeed - can someone from DJI please jump in and confirm this? Thank you.  The attached images show the error messages which happen repeatedly and kill the upgrade.. HELP!!!!

You can do the add on firmware of 3.350 to upgrade to .800 via DJI Assistant 2

You need to contact DJI support and tell them to add your login email to the DJI assistant to have the 3.350 firmware

i need this .350 update before i throw my mavic in the trash and get a GOPRO karma...  very disappointed after i’m told this would be the best purchase i’ve ever made.
