Could you try another GO app device ? I remember DJI Jamie saying the New FW and Go apps will require a Minimum of a A7 processor to work properly . If you could perhaps borrow and I pad Air or Pro it would help to eliminate the possible source of the problem . |
That is why pilots who were using systems with less than A7 processor had success in the past, but as the encryption and FW has become more complex the Mini I pads will barely make the grade.
One big flag that came up for me is you said it got worse when you disabled the Hardware Decode , that tells me the processor needs all the help it can get to keep up.
I think If you can get hold of an I-pad pro or air , it will solve the issue.
( I always hate posting this solution because it costs money to upgrade and the fact that it worked before is frustrating . I just know for a fact that it works 9 out of 10 times pilots upgrade there go app device )
In the meantime, here are some ideas till you can get a Pro or air. Try channel 20 ,it is a channel that does not compete with any wi fi signals, be sure to enable the Hardware decode as well, double check that you have NO other apps running in the backround, You could do a re link from the AC to RC and do a system Reset on the RC to eliminate any presets that might be giving problems. Try and go from 4k to 1080p and see if that help with the video as well.
Link below of same situation ( mostly ) and the above soulution worked for them , this is just ONE example .
Reset the RC of any odd presets:
* Turn on the controller, and the aircraft should be off.
* Press C1, C2, and shutter ( at same time , hold in firmly ) on the controller then turn the controller off. Then let go after a few moments.
Now you will need to re link the AC and RC
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller and re- link the remote.
If you dont know how to re link , ihave instructions at the bottom of my tips page . (link below )
