I bought a new Mavic May of this year 3 months of flying no problem then Gimbal Overload every time on start up, and I could not control the camera. I was bummed out I had to send it in. I watched YouTube videos for hours trying trouble shoot the problem. To no avail I had to send the Mavic in. I was feeling good I bought the refresh program. I sent in out Monday Aug 21, from Rochester NY package arrived in California Monday the 28th on Tuesday 29th at noon I get a email saying they have it. 3 Hours later another email saying problem is under warranty it will be fixed and returned in 3 to 6 business days. That kind of support is top notch in my book!  THANK YOU DJI!

So you are ok to wait for an easy fix for almost 3 weeks? I know most of this down time is due to shipping, but for a PAID extra warranty, it should've included the overnight shipping both ways.

That's very good service and it's nice to hear something positive. They seem to be doing quite a bit better than they were in earlier days after the Mavic was released.

I ran into the same issue as you and many others, Gimbal Overload.
Without DJI Refresh I'm getting charged $210 for "repair".

You'd think that a smoking Mavic should be covered the 1-year warranty, but both mine and fansa5957cce's repair invoices say "not caused by a product malfunction" and we both got a $200 repair bill.

This gimbal overload is repeated seen in these forums, so I'm not sure how they can say this isn't a "product malfunction".

Still trying to get this escalated from DJI support. (CAS-927209-D5C7S0)
