I have been using my mavic air for more
than a week now, and have gotten
200meters in an rural area but in an urban
area only under 100meters. And always
lossing connection and video... already refreshed firmware using DJI assist 2... tried with iphone and note 8.. also used phones own wire....

recorded this in a mountain resort where there are no wifi.. and still got this result.. so this is most likely not due to interference.

I got the same problem with you.
I swipe to take off without issue, then I fly straight up around 3~5 meters and video feed and drone control disconnect and never reconnected. Then the drone just hover and slowly fly down to 1.5 meter. And wait  for 20 mins!!!!

I tried different location three times still the same.

Disconnected and can’t reconnect after aircraft return. Sounds like the problem I have.

Yes problem is still there... this is frustrating... im not asking to get 2km range... i would be happy with even 300m, as this is only for personal use. but even un rural area its not possible. Im from Philippines btw and i would be very difficult to return this...

Are you in 2.4 or 5.8 channel?
