Hi

I am doing a PhD using the Phantom 3 Standard for surveying. I would need to know at sensor pixel size (not ground pixel size) and focal lenght of the camera (real focal length and not equivalent).

all my images show a focal length of 3.61mm

sensor pixel size:1.334(H)um x 1.334(V)um, focal length of camera: 3.6mm.

Bit of an old follow-up, but may I ask how you got to these values? My estimation of the pixel size (based off the 6.3 x 4.7mm Phantom 3 SE sensor size)  is around 1.55um.



Edit: I just realized this was probably a reply from one of the engineers, so likely the best information I'll find.
In that case, I'll just say that I was basing my estimations on the effective pixel count for Phantom 3 Standard / SE (12 MP) and the most reputable sensor size quote I could find (6.3 x 4.7 mm), as I could not find the total pixel count for Ph 3 Standard (FC300C) or Phantom 3 SE.

This was not the case for Phantom 3 Advanced/Professional (FC300X, FC300S), where both effective and actual pixel counts (12.4 MP and 12.76MP) are found on the drone spec pages, and another post quotes the sensor size to be  6.16 x 4.62 mm. Both the Standard/SE and Advanced/Professional drones have the same  94° fov and 20mm equivalent f2.8 fixed lens (3.6mm), so this has been confusing me a bit when trying to estimate the pixel size for the Standard drone.

Any advice on my assumptions would be appreciated
