Well, when I have the mavic pro for one or two, year more or less. The first updates I had no problem at all. But, after the latests updated that I install, video transmition was starting to lag.  But with the latest update, now it is impossible to use the drone.

My phone is an android with 8 cores, 4 GB ram and 64 GB storage.

Before the last 3 updates, I think, it was working fine.
I just looked at the cache video on my phone, and even the cached video shows this problem.

Will I have to buy Litch to use the drone, DJI?

I'm really sorry to hear that. Did you try to use a different USB cable? You can try to reinstall the app but make sure to back up your files and sync your flight records before doing it.

Unfortunately you are not alone.
There are several posts regarding issues with new firmware (Pro and Air)
In my case, I've been waiting since the last one was released for M.Air (May-18) for correction and so far nothing.
The more DJI moves, the worse it gets.

You could just install an older version.......

BTW- DJI Paladin, Did you just come from holiday? You have to be kidding us. The forum and Google play is more or less full of customer complains in this.

since the last update i have also the same problem as alexmbraMav .  Before that, I had no problems with the video transmition. It is very annoying that DJI does not notice such violent bugs . I'm using a Nexus 9, which is known to be one of the officially supported devices

Anyone that has been paying attention to this forum knows that the problem is not the USB cable, and reinstalling the app will not solve it either.

You have to downgrade the app to 4.2.16.

I can't believe DJI's moderators are still not providing the solution and are waiting for other users to do so.

DJI management knows this problem but there are no signs that they will help us!! It seems that the existing customer are not so important.

Same issue here. I almost lost my MP yesterday and thankfully RTH worked. Most forums and FB pages are saying to install 4.2.16 and I've downloaded the APK, but haven't uninstalled the current app because I don't know how to back up acct, flight logs, etc... Is there a link to full instructions anywhere?  I almost wanna just buy Litchi if it didn't void my warranty.

Problem many Android programmers in different drone forums and even guys I know in our local drone club have all suggested the APP GO4 is now just too big to be ran efficiently on most devices not well over minimum spec. It's nearly half a Gig. That is a huge app.

4.2.16 many have reported that you will still have the issue if you do have the issue in 4.2.16 go down to 4.2.14 as many that have the issue with 4.2.16 find it works great with 4.2.14  https://apkpure.com/dji-go-4-for-drones-since-p4/dji.go.v4

Thanks, but I ended up just deleting and installing 4.2.16 and the fpv feed now seems to be back to normal on my short test flight using an LG V20 phone.

It's pathetic to pay such a big amount of money for drone which doesn't work properly... Same problem here, but - thanks to you guys, I will try to downgrade it too

Downgrade to 4.2.16 works not for me. I will try it with 4.2.14

4.2.21 is out. Let's see if it fixes the issue

By the way, for those saying that app size is the problem, at least when compressed .20 (buggy) is way smaller than .16 (not so buggy). Not sure where that idea came from, the size of an app does not really determine the amount of resources it uses.

4.2.21 is out. Let's see if it fixes the issue

For me, it didn't fix the lag and pixelated live vídeo.
